Basic FunctionResponsible for the timely completion of assigned preventive maintenance and service repairs on equipment.
Perform all service assignments in a safe, efficient and competent manner, using the least number of labor hours necessary in accordance with JESCO-approved quality and efficiency standardsReview service orders and inspect equipment for additional repairs or malfunctions by test driving or visual inspection, utilizing the Preventative Maintenance machine inspection formKeep assigned service vehicle clean and professional-looking both inside and out.
This is to be done on technicians' own time if using company vehicle to commute from home.
Notify supervisor of any necessary maintenance and service to the assigned service vehicle, including all onboard equipmentEnsure that all onboard equipment within assigned vehicle is both safe and fully operationalKeep phone and GPS communication on and in working order at all timesRetain, tag and store removed parts properly for return to manufacturerComplete service orders and warranty reports in accordance with JESCO-approved quality and efficiency standards.
Return unused parts from field calls to the parts department promptly and in proper condition for resaleDiscard residual or hazardous waste, using proper disposal methodsInvest in tools necessary to perform at expected levels and qualityAlways exhibit a professional manner when representing the CompanySafely utilize all tools and equipment, including but not limited to:
Creeper, Pressure washers, Torque wrenches, Hydraulic jacks, Computer pressure gauges, Welding equipment, Pneumatic and hand tools, Diagnostic equipmentContinually upgrade technical competence by attending all classes and shop meetings, and read all service bulletins as requestedComplete equipment inspections in accordance with Company and government standardsUse the Company's tag system when finished with repairsRespect and maintain Company investment in tools and work area by keeping Company assets clean and orderlyShould technician drive directly home from job, stop times shall be calculated from either nearest branch or job location, whichever is closest to technician's homeShould technician start from home, start time shall either begin from branch office or job location, whichever is closest.
Use Company property with care to meet safety requirements determined by dealership and government agencies.
Make yourself available for overtime, understanding that the equipment repair business may call for it from time to timePERFORM other related duties as assignedRequirementsSuccessfully complete pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen, as well as maintain approved DOT CDL physical status if required for the position.
Safely lift and move up to 70 lbs as well as push and pull up to 50 lbs of resistance.
Safely walk on uneven jobsite terrain and climb on construction equipment, elevated platforms, ladders, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
