Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) per New York State Office of Professions.
0-2 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Experience working in Behavioral Health a plus.
This is a professional Registered Nurse (RN) position which requires strong judgment and skillsets within behavioral health treatment.
The Registered Nurse (RN) receives supervision from the Nurse Supervisor and works collaboratively with the Medical Director, Behavioral Health Center Directors, and Center Staff.
Job
Responsibilities:
Assess behavioral health client nursing care needs.
Review all health screening forms with clients, document medical conditions and summary of screening form review in the electronic health record.
Give skilled nursing care and health monitoring services to clients.
Coordinate client care with treatment team members, health care professionals and pharmacies in the community.
Counsel and guides clients and families in the prevention of illness and in the attainment and maintenance of maximum health.
Complete prior authorization medication forms and work with insurance/managed care organizations to advocate for medication coverage.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate client appointments for injection medications.
Maintain essential nursing case records and reports.
Develop and oversees procedures related to nursing care.
Monitoring the Medication Storage Cabinets and inventoryMonitor nursing supplies and medical hazardous waste management.
Provide education to clients and staff on health-related topics.
Complete intake assessments with new clients.
Develop and facilitate groups specific to behavioral health and wellness.
Additional tasks as appropriate to meet the nursing care needs of clients.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
