Gefen Senior Care - Our Assisted Living Facility has been a staple in the Beacon, NY community for over 33 years.
We are actively seeking Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide certified individuals to work exclusively within our facility.
PCA/HHA certified qualified employees are offered comparable salaries, union and medical benefits after 90 days of employment.
Our PCA/HHA staff members care for our Residents like family.
PCA/HHA employees are the heart of our facility because they provide hands on care as well as grooming, bathing and other personal care assistance for our Residents and improve their quality of life.
Qualifications/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Personal Care Aide (PCA) and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required Ability to stand, bend, lift, and provide hands on assistance for Residents as needed Ability to be patient, understanding of Resident's specific personal care and mental health needs and limitations PPE required at work (mask, eyes protection, gloves) and cleaning up of general areas for Residents is a part of daily activities Punctual, reliable, available on some holidays and weekends days All facility staff members are required by New York State law to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated and to have a COVID-19 vaccination booster.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
